Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Word Clash (“Word Clash,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Word Clash mobile app and the wordclash.net website (together, the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy.

2. How we use information

We use the information to provide and operate the game (matchmaking, scoring, leaderboards, the in-game economy), enable social features, process and verify purchases, show and measure advertising, send notifications you’ve enabled, diagnose crashes and improve performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and respond to support requests and legal obligations.

3. Advertising

We use Google AdMob to show ads, and we request non-personalized ads from Google AdMob on both platforms. On iOS we do not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission, so iOS supplies advertising SDKs with a zeroed advertising identifier. On Android your device advertising ID is sent with ad requests. You can reset or limit ad tracking at any time in your device settings.

4. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with the service providers and advertising partners below, under contract and limited to what they need:

Our advertising partner receives ad-interaction data; an account identifier we send with rewarded ads, on both platforms, so the reward you earned can be credited back to your account; and, on Android, your device advertising ID, as described in section 3. We request non-personalized ads from Google AdMob, which limits how it is used to select the ads you see. Depending on where you live, sharing an advertising identifier with an ad network may still count as a “sale” or “share” of personal information under local law. You can limit this at any time using your device’s ad-tracking settings.

We may also disclose information to comply with the law, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the Service.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize the associated personal data, except where we must retain limited records (for example, transaction records) to meet legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations.

6. Your choices and rights

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account), which removes your profile and associated data. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us at app@algotery.com.

7. Children

Word Clash is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers

We and our service providers may process your information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be communicated in the app.
